What TradeQuote is

TradeQuote is a scoping and estimating tool. It gives homeowners a rough, non-binding cost range for a described job and shows top-rated local businesses that may be able to help. TradeQuote is not a licensed contractor, does not perform any work, and does not guarantee the accuracy of any estimate, the availability of any business shown, or the outcome of any job.

For homeowners

Estimates are rough guides based on typical costs for similar jobs, not quotes. Actual pricing depends on an in-person assessment by a licensed professional.
Businesses shown in your results are pulled from Google's public business listings. TradeQuote does not vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality of their work.
If you choose to share your contact information with a pro, that pro may contact you directly. TradeQuote is not a party to any agreement you reach with them.

For subscribing pros

A subscription gives you exclusive delivery of leads matching one trade category in one ZIP code, for as long as your subscription remains active and paid.
Leads are homeowner-submitted job descriptions and contact information, shared only after the homeowner has explicitly consented to share them with you. TradeQuote does not guarantee any minimum number of leads, that a lead will result in a job, or the accuracy of what a homeowner has entered.
You may cancel at any time. Canceling immediately releases your exclusive claim on that trade and ZIP code, and it becomes available for another business to claim.
Subscriptions are billed and processed through Stripe. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us using the details on our homepage.
You are responsible for verifying your own licensing, insurance, and legal compliance for the work you perform. TradeQuote does not verify contractor licensing or insurance.

Limitation of liability

TradeQuote is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TradeQuote is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to the accuracy of an estimate, the conduct of any business shown or contacted, or the outcome of any job.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of TradeQuote after a change means you accept the updated terms.
